ARMIN HOFMANN (1920- ) POSTERS / THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART. 1981. 35 3/4x24 inches, 90 3/4x61 cm. Wasserman, Basel. Condition A. Paper. Hofmann studied in Zürich and later settled in Basel, where he opened a studio and started teaching. He was a master typographer and, over the years, developed a design standard based on consistent and rational principles aimed at creating timeless images. This image was also used on the exhibition program for the show which featured 24 of his works.
