A happy couple in red and blue ski outfits waving against a blue background. Created by the Dartmouth Outing Club in 1911, the Winter Carnival was particularly popular in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. With the exception of 1918, when coal & food were in short supply, there has been a winter carnival at Dartmouth each year since it began.
