Built in 1929-30, the steel and concrete Art Deco theater in London's West End was designed by Wimperis, Simpson and Guthrie. Its interior design is partly by Serge Chermayeff, with bronze friezes by sculptor Anthony Gibbons Grinling gracing the foyer. A 1987 restoration brought these details back to life.
