Often unnerving and frequently disturbing, they reflect his interests in dreams, masks, theater and mythology. Hockey Player, New York, from the Dream Collector series, incorporates all of these into a compelling image that changes from a threatening tone to one of power as the viewer identifies alternately with the viewpoints of the subject and the photographer."
