Anders Beckman was one of Sweden's foremost graphic designers. Among his major clients was AB Aerotransport (ABA), Sweden's first airline company, which eventually became SAS. Beckman was renowned not only for his poster work, but also for the Pavilion he designed for the 1939 New York World's Fair and many other international exhibitions and events. Here, promoting travel to the continent, European landmarks are seen from above, with the outline of a DC-3, which the company began operating in 1937.
