Pictorial title and 25 plates by Louis and Charles Haghe after Atkinson, mostly of mountain scenery, all tinted lithographs; lithographed dedication leaf; Henry Graves & Co. ad leaf at end; lacks the plate list, though the Graves ad leaf lists the plates for this and other similar works. Folio, 538x368 mm, original cloth by A. Tarrant, rebacked, hinges reinforced; occasional marginal foxing and stains, some plates chipped or worn along edges, partly repaired clean tear across title. Perforated stamp of the City Library of Springfield, Massachusetts, on title and first and last plates, their bookplate on front pastedown. London: Longman Brown Green and Longmans et al., [1842]
