Built in 1925, a year prior to the stadium built in Chicago bearing the same name, Los Angeles' Wrigley Field was home to the L.A. Angels (owned by William Wrigley, Jr.) from 1925 until 1957 when the team and stadium were purchased by the Dodgers. As Art Director for Wrigley, Otis Shepard also worked for the Chicago Cubs. Although it is unsigned this poster may likely be his work, as it was his deisgns alone which were used for the company for decades. He is not known to have designed any other work for the California team.
