From the collection of Lee Marks. The rare first edition of Marlborough Gallery''s "Richard Avedon, Photographer," which lacks the gallery''s printed name on the front cover. After it was produced by Avedon, the gallery reprinted it to include their name. The first edition also contains a printer''s error under the copyright notice. To remedy the error Marlborough made a stamp to correct each copy.
