Mission updates and corrections were logged by the team member, mostly in pencil. This flight plan provides insights to the real time events that occurred throughout the eight day flight. Signed on the cover by Buzz Aldrin and signed and inscribed on page 3-80, the time Aldrin was scheduled to descend to the surface with: "Magnificent Desolation, Buzz Aldrin." These were Aldrin's first words after stepping onto the lunar surface.
