The Apollo 11 crew signed a small group of cacheted covers before the flight which were kept by their families. The covers provided a means of life insurance in case the crew failed to return from the first lunar landing mission. Signed: "Neil Armstrong", "Mike Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin".
