Apollo "Executive" Contractor Model. An extremely rare Apollo Command/Service Module model mounted atop the SLA (Spacecraft/LM Adapter) section of the Saturn launch vehicle. On the 10-inch wood circular base a metal plate reads: "North American Aviation, Inc., Apollo Spacecraft" with the NAA and NASA logos. This model had extremely limited distribution due, in part, to production costs. Only a handful of top NASA and contractor executives received this type of model. Walt Cunningham was one of the few Apollo Astronauts to actually obtain one. The back side of the SLA is inscribed and signed: "From my personal collection, Walt Cunningham, Apollo 7." With a Typed Letter Signed by Cunningham providing additional details.
