Apollo Lunar Module (LM) Model. Features an approximately 4x4x4 inch Ascent Stage which is detachable from the 10x10x3 inch Descent Stage. The entire model is removable from the 10-inch circular base. Constructed with white and painted plastic, metal landing gear, and metal antennas. The LM made two earth orbital missions and eight lunar missions, of which six LMs actually landed on the surface. The LM was the means of crew survival during Apollo 13. For Grumman, 1969
