This "expanded " edition contains information on De Witt's and Burr's maps of New York State, not present in the first edition published only 3 months earlier. This September edition was published in 12 copies only, the July edition in 6. About half of the copies of both editions were distributed to institutions. Most complete reference on all the maps of Sauthier and the maps of New York by Burr. NYPL used this reference to catalog the Burr maps in the Slaughter Collection.
