Signed near lower edge recto and again verso, additionally signed three times in the third person within the text. Written on the same sheet is David Cheney's complaint against Saunders and a statement by Kingston's constable, in Bartlett's hand, signed by complainant, constable, another justice, and witnesses. 2 pages, tall 4to, written on recto and verso of a single sheet; complete separations at folds incompletely repaired with tissue on verso forming two pieces, few signatures affected by fold or tissue repair (without loss), some chipping at all edges with minor loss, moderate scattered staining and contemporary smudging.
