Gems of the Great Exhibitions, London 1851, New-York 1853. 5 "Baxter process" color-printed wood block engravings, each clear varnished and mounted in passe-partout with gold decorative borders, red cloth edging and Baxter blind-stamp. 4to, 12x8 inches, original green cloth elaborately blind and gilt stamped with a motif of New York's Crystal Palace, descriptive letterpress pastedowns, minor rubbing to corners, one small chip of cloth at the front foredge; colors extremely bright, fresh and well preserved, some minor toning to borders. London, circa 1853
