Additional Details

The publisher writes, "Two casual sketches made in my office at Crown Publishers in the mid-1970s, while discussing editorial matters connected to "The Painter's Mind" by Bearden and Carl Holty - one of Holty - along with a letter to me some years later about the "Eugene Story" he once told me (The crippled boy who taught him to draw . . . pornographic drawings.) and that I wanted Romy to write and illustrate.
