Album containing 72 exterior and interior ecclesiastical views of abbeys and cathedrals in the British Isles, including Tintern, Croyland, Glastonbury and Llanthony Abbeys as well as Bristol, Ely, Exeter, Gloucester, Hereford, Lincoln, Peterborough, St. David, Salisbury and Wells cathedrals in addition to castles in Exeter, Ludlow and Reglan. Albumen prints, 11x9 1/2 inches (27.9x24.1 cm.), many with Bedford's credit in the negative. With one photograph per leaf; each with a period handwritten caption on mount recto; many with the Thompson and Co's "Series of Architectural Photographs" label affixed to mount verso. Oblong folio, rebound in green cloth. Circa 1870
