Additional Details

"I should have hoped the American Cambridge had something better to do than to print the writings of the humble person who signs this letter, But it is inconceivable that so distinguished an university would pretend to have printed me. If the first edition of 'More' bears the imprimatur of that university, then . . . that university must have printed that edition. . . . I don't remember that I had any proofs from your Cambridge. . . . The haze of antiquity hangs impenetrable over all. . . ."
