An illusration of this drawing is reproduced in "The Voyage of the Lucky Dragon" by Ralph E. Lapp, published in 1958. Shahn also worked with Lapp to illustrate a series of three articles published in Harper's Magazine from 1957-58 about the fishing boat, "Lucky Dragon", that was contaminated by the 1954 Bikini Atoll atomic testing.
