The letter, thanking her for the note and for the article about her mother's paintings, inviting her to visit him in Florence, and suggesting that she ask her husband to read the sections on politics in Rumor and Reflection. 2 pages, 4to, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet, onionskin paper; folds.
