A very good, richly-inked impression.
In 1938 Steffen painted a post office mural in his hometown of Neodesha, Kansas commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts. Steffen also worked for the Works Progress Administration's Federal Art Project in New York as a printmaker.
