Additional Details

A lovely set of sketches by Beatrix's younger brother Bertram. Two seated rabbits drawn in brown ink and pencil grace one side (with two indecipherable sketches along bottom) while a series of 4 studies of hands and a still life appear on the other. Gorse Hall was the home of the Potter children's grandparents and where their mother, Helen Leech, was born. The home was torn down in 1910.
