Etching, aqutint and drypoint on cream wove paper, 1964. Combined dimensions, 318x610 mm; 12 1/2x24 inches, full margins (both plates). Signed, dated, titled and inscribed "proof" in pencil, lower margin. A very scarce impression of this print - possibly a unique proof.
The etching on the left is also known as The beast that pounds the desert's dust, also from 1964. Here Saar makes a composite image from two plates printed side by side.
