Ruled in red throughout. 8vo, contemporary black morocco gilt-tooled to cottage roof design with silver center- and cornerpieces, the front centerpiece incised with the monogram LW, spine ends worn, front joint starting at top and bottom; gilt edges, with crude floral pattern painted on fore edges. Bound in front is a 1676 Bill and Barker edition of The Book of Common Prayer (Griffiths 1676/2), extra-illustrated with extraneous engraved frontispiece portrait of Charles II and 47 (of ?) contemporary plates of biblical scenes, and with 4-leaf Private Devotions at the Administration of the Holy Communion (London: Henry Bonwicke, 1704, not found in ESTC) also inserted. Bound in back is a 1677 Company of Stationers edition of the Sternhold/Hopkins metrical psalms.
