[4], 190; 128, 130-187 [i. e., 197]; 121, [11] leaves, including initial leaf, blank except for signature A on recto; lacks 2Q7 (Malachi 3:1-4:6). 4 parts in one volume, including the Apocrypha. 4to, 208x158 mm, contemporary panelled calf, rebacked, endpapers conspicuously renewed; soiling throughout, occasionally heavy, lower outer corner off ¶4 slightly affecting one word on recto and border on verso, A8 trimmed in outer margin entering sidenotes, lower portion of 2Q6 (beginning of Malachi) torn off with substantial text loss, scattered clean tears, later owners' inscriptions, small wormtrail in gutters in middle of volume, smeared ink scrawls on 3L5-6. Bound in front is the 1603 [i. e., 1604] Barker quarto Book of Common Prayer, the second edition after another in folio format to incorporate textual changes resulting from the Hampton Court Conference. [38] (of [42]) leaves; lacks the title and following 3 leaves. Opening leaves heavily soiled with edges frayed and outer corners off. Griffiths 1603/5; GTS/But One Use 32; STC 16326.5. At end is a 1604 Windet/Company of Stationers edition of the Sternhold/Hopkins metrical psalms, printed in 2 columns in roman type with letterpress music in text. [56] leaves. Soiled and dampstained, top line of title and some headlines cropped, lower outer corner of title off partly affecting imprint, later owners' inscriptions and marginalia, last several leaves heavily frayed, last leaf torn with slight text loss.
