Folio, 465x374 mm, early 19th-century red straight-grain morocco handsomely gilt, Volume 1 front cover detached, stain on Volume 4 rear cover; vertical crease in Volume 1 preliminaries, dedication leaf loose, conspicuous marginal dampstaining throughout Volume 2 occasionally entering text and images, light marginal dampstaining through most of the remaining volumes.
