Additional Details

one of only sixteen copies on vellum of a sumptuously produced greek psalter, edited by Henry Hervey Baber, keeper of printed books at the British Museum. This edition is based on the text of the Codex Alexandrinus, the 5th-century manuscript of the Septuagint and New Testament presented by the Patriarch of Constantinople to King James I in 1628 and now in the British Museum; it was printed with specially designed type emulating the uncial script of the Codex.
