Title in red and black with woodcut device of Simon Vincent; full-page woodcut of the Creation on 2d10v; 10 small text illustrations; profusion of woodcut historiated initials. [30], 500, [54] leaves, including final leaf with Vincent device on verso. 8vo, 163x120 mm, old leather, worn, spine ends chipped, joints cracked, cords intact; margins trimmed entering a few sidenotes, contents browned with occasional soiling and dampstaining, spattered white ink mostly in first half of volume not impairing legibility, scattered early marginalia, some woodcut and letterpress initials accentuated in yellow, ink stain in upper outer corner of e3-4 oxidized with resulting text loss, vertical paper crack in G1 not affecting text, device on last page tinted, with contemporary inscription below.
