Manuscript Psalter, written in Gothic script in black ink, 28 lines, recto and verso, on vellum. initials alternately in red and blue throughout, some with penwork decoration. 76 (of ?) leaves, lacking leaves with the text of Psalms 1-5 and at least 3 leaves from the end matter. 167x120 mm, later 16th-century limp vellum with blind-stamped arabesque centerpiece between initials C C on covers, additionally stamped .I.ANNA. / DE.GHENT. on front and ANNO / 1580 on rear, backstrip damaged, contents loose in binding; scattered stains, large portion of last leaf excised. At the beginning is a calendar followed by a prefatory note in French on the virtues of reading the Psalms; at the end are miscellaneous texts including the Athanasian Creed, litany, and various prayers, partly incomplete.
