Folio, contemporary purple velvet over wooden boards with chased and engraved repousée metal center and cornerpieces on front cover showing the Resurrection and 4 Evangelists, and decorative metal frame and 4 bosses around centerpiece depicting the Crucifixion on rear cover, metal catches, lacks clasps; occasional marginal soiling and dampstaining, scattered minor repairs.
