first edition of the text of Daniel from a 7th-century Syro-Hexaplar manuscript discovered by Bugati in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan. The press of the Cistercian Monastery of St. Ambrose was established in 1778 using types produced by Giovanni Battista Bodoni.
