Feiffer commentary: I love the early Barney Google that Billy DeBeck did. When Snuffy Smith took over, I hated it. I didn't like that at all. Before it went hillbilly, I loved the drawing. It was an old-fashioned Bigfoot comic style that I always loved. The characters are old fashioned, cartoony looking characters and style, and totally unsophisticated.
