H. Stonehouse, gilt turn-ins and tan watered silk endleaves, edges stamped "Cosway Binding" on front cover, "Invented by J. H. Stonehouse" along rear edge, head of spine lightly worn with a small chip and separation beginning at joint; top edges gilt, others trimmed; custom felt-lined rose cloth clamshell box with gilt-lettered spine labels. Additional Details

cosway binding number 900 as stated on the colophon and Signed by both Stonehouse and Currie. They, along with Rivière, were collaborators on most of the Cosway bindings which numbered about 1,000 at Currie's death in 1940.
