first editions of the three separately published volumes of
Harry Crosby's diaries. The first and second volumes were limited to 44 [unnumbered] copies. The third volume was published without a colophon or limitation statement, but it is one of the rarest of the Black Sun volumes. Volume 2
bears a penciled note in caresse crosby's hand, marking the place where harry had ceased correcting proofs, just before his suicide on December 10, 1929 at age 31. Minkoff A11.
