Additional Details

Perhaps the greatest image to emerge from the picturing of the American West, and certainly Bodmer's most famous, this portrait of Péhriska-Rúhpa ("Two Ravens"), the warrior and chief of the Hidatsa, encapsulates the vanished era of the Plains Indian.
