Hohlwein designed a series of five, horizontal-format posters for a property developer who was building in the suburbs of Munich. They were targeted at the middle-class bourgeois, with images of clean, comfortable houses. Here, as in the others, he depicts an enviable, quiet, upper-middle class idyll, with the special addition of a woman climbing into a taxi, most likely to demonstrate just how accessible this new district was.
