Ukranian-born Margo (1902-1995) grew up in Russia but settled permanently in the United States in 1930. He was a technically innovative and a fluid artist, working mainly in the styles of surrealism and Abstract Expressionism. Margo was represented by the Betty Parsons Gallery, New York, from 1947 to 1962.
