Album entitled "Flori di Sirie" containing more than 330 exceptional photographs of flower specimens by P. Bouloumoy. Bromide prints, 9x51/2 inches (22.5x13.75), with a penciled inventory number on recto, most separated by interleafing tissue. Oblong folio, 1/4 morocco, corners worn, with a handwritten title on the front cover and a gilt-lettered title on the spine. 1930s

An artful pictorial survey of plant and flower specimens by a French pioneer named Bouloumoy, who made these studies in Syria. The size of the photographs are consistent throughout and pairs of prints are mounted recto/verso.
