Additional Details

Second collected edition in Latin of Boyle's works. The general and individual part titles have the "Genevae" rather than "Coloniae Allobrogum" imprint. Fulton 247. "During Robert Boyle's lifetime there was great demand for his writings not only in England but on the Continent . . . Hence it is no surprise that a collected edition appeared during his lifetime, to wit, the Geneva Opera Varia of 1677 (reprinted in 1680) . . . Separate Latin translations from Geneva, sometimes bound with the preceding, continued to appear until 1696" (Fulton).
