Autograph Letter Signed, "JBrahms," to an unnamed recipient ("Esteemed Sir"), in German, advising him to contact a musician about working with two others, complaining about two performances, requesting one or two rehearsals since the piece is difficult for a full orchestra, noting that he is only free to attend the last rehearsal, and adding that the score for his concert could be had from Levi in Munich [Musical Director of the National Theater in Munich Hermann Levi]. 1 1/2 pages, 8vo, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; minor loss to upper left corner, horizontal folds.
