This poster was commissioned for the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), also known as the "Earth Summit." The conference brought together people from 179 countries for a massive effort to target the impact of human activities on the environment. They asked Braldt to create the image for their public relations poster. The programme's mission is to promote justice, equality and sustainability in the world had entered its third decade, and they wanted Braldt's image to exemplify how we're all in this together as one complex organism.
