Inscribed "Shout Sister Shout to Lyonel A. Aucoin from Composer J. Tim Brymm." James "Tim" Brymm (1881-1946) was the musical director for Walker and William shows, and also led the famous 350th Artillery band in Europe during WWI. Known as the "Seventy Black Devils," the band is credited with introducing jazz into France. Brymm was no stranger to Europe having toured in 1904 with Walker and Williams. He wrote the scores for numerous Smart Set productions, including "The Black Politician" and "His Honor the Barber."<
