Frontispiece by Smith Pierson, text illustrations, with advertisement leaf for Bulfinch's Hebrew Lyrics. 8vo, original mauve cloth blindstamped with an all-over lozenge decoration, ornamental center design, spine gilt lettered and decorated, some discoloration and fading, slight rubbing and fraying; yellow-cream endpapers; small paper loss in blank outer margins of two leaves; slight offsetting from bookplate on endpaper; preserved in maroon morocco slipcase and cloth chemise.
