Small black-and-white card featuring a portrait of Baker by Lucien Lorelle (1894-1968) dressed in a white satin dress with halter top and a sash on her left hip, large bangle on her right wrist and coordinating earrings, posed with her left hand on her hip and her right hand held up showing two fingers, a reference to her song and the headline on the card (in the song, Baker's two loves are "mon pays et Paris"); advertising Baker's performance at the Paris Colonial Exposition, sponsored by the Paris absinthe manufacturer Pernod Fils; with more detailed information printed on the verso; one corner folded, surface abrasions and grime, 5 x 2 5/8 in.
