Folio, second collected edition with eighteen plays never before published; engraved portrait by Berkenhead of Fletcher bound opposite the title; bound in full speckled English calf, with an older rebacking, worn; ex libris Saint Oswald's, Durham, which was endowed by John Cock, Vicar (1639?-1701), with typographical bookplate inside the front board; 14 1/8 x 9 in.

In his 1701 will, Cock bequeathed his library of approximately 1,500 volumes to the parish of St. Oswald's with a twenty pound grant to build an annex to house the books. He also left St. Oswald's 600 pounds to be invested in land, directing the parish to utilize the income thus gain in aid of the poor, specifically educating poor children, providing them with medical care, clothing, cash, and books. The library was dispersed and sold at auction in 1929.
