Four oblong-format folio volumes; the Old Testament occupying the first three volumes and illustrated with 158 of 178 numbered engravings, lacking twenty plates numbered 59 through 78, roughly torn out with only scraps of paper remaining along the gutter; the New Testament taking up the fourth volume and illustrated with seventy-two of seventy-eight plates, lacking the last six (73 to 78); text in Spanish at the bottom of each plate; each volume bound in contemporary limp parchment, 11 1/2 x 7 3/4 in.
