Folio, first revised edition of the 1589 High German translation of a 1492 world chronicle in Low German emphasizing the history of Saxony, with continuations to 1596 by Johann Pomarius and Dresser; illustrated with a double-page woodcut view of Magdeburg, a folding woodcut plate depicting equestrian monument to Emperor Otto I; and a profusion of woodcut text illustrations (including repeats); bound in later vellum, rebacked; contents heavily browned with occasional marginal dampstaining and worming, old stamp obscured on title; 12 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.
