Quarto, a8, b4, c-x8, y9 (lacking the final blank y10; h4 torn with loss of one quarter of the sheet, h5 torn with loss of three-quarters of the sheet, text on both sides of both sheets supplied in near-contemporary pen facsimile); text printed in gothic type throughout, the text of the Psalter in the center, in a larger font, surrounded by Bruno's commentary printed in double-columns in a smaller font; most smaller initials provided in red, one large blue initial on the first page of text; bound in 16th century full German alum-tawed pigskin over wooden boards, tooled in blind, brass catches and clasps, some worming, flyspecking to title; contemporary ownership inscription to title in red ink: Joachimi Scherbij; later Jesuit institution inscription, some worming to contents, small remnants of fore-edge bookmarks, 8 x 6 1/4 in.
