Burckhardt, Johann Ludwig (1784-1817)
Notes on the Bedouins and Wahabys, Collected during his Travels in the East.

London: Henry Coburn & Richard Bentley, 1831.

Swiss-born scholar and traveler, Burckhardt traveled in the Arab world under the name Sheikh Ibrahim Ibn Abdallah, and dressed in local garb.
