Limited edition, elephant folio; one of 200 copies signed by the artist's son and editor Philip Burne-Jones on the limitation page; half-title, title printed in red and black, single leaf with artist's biography, 18 pages listing and describing the plates; complete with 91 photogravures, one being a portrait of the artist and the rest reproductions of his heavenly Pre-Raphaelite artworks, the majority protected by tissue guards (varied degrees of foxing to plates, largely marginal); loosely contained as issued in the original gilt-tooled morocco and cloth portfolio; ex-libris bookplates of German noblemen P.A. Mumm von Schwarzenstein and Radowitz-Mumm Kleiningersheim to inside front cover; 26 1/4 x 19 3/4 in.
